24 year-old singer/songwriter Starboy Nathan is to take his colourful collage of Jamaican basslines, banging drums and heartfelt soul vocals on the road this Winter, announcing three UK shows for the end of November.
A fresh face from London’s southeast side, Nathan is a mash of British, American and Jamaican culture, having spent time living in each country. His mother, Lorna Gee, is a reggae singer and continued to tour after Nathan was born leaving him in his Grandmother’s care in Spanish Town, Jamaica. At the age of five years old, Nathan moved to New York City with his mother and at 10 his family moved back to London’s southeast area, Forest Hill.
After settling in London, it was there that Nathan began to perform with his mother during her shows and the performance seed was planted. Four years later, the young man began his R&B career with a stroke of luck on UK radio.
Fresh off the back of his single ‘Hangover’, released this week featuring Wretch 32, R&B sensation Starboy Nathan announces his first ever UK tour. Resuming his place in the spotlight, the talented singer-songwriter will headline his own shows in London and Manchester this November performing all his hits plus tracks from his second album.
Starboy Nathan’s second album ‘3D-Determination, Dedication and Desire’ is set for release in late October/early November.
