Michael Jackson to Release Second Posthumous Album in November

Michael Jackson will be releasing a new album this November, two years and three months after he died of a drug overdose.

The new record, titled ‘Immortal’, will hit shelves on November 21st later this year, and will feature musical designer Kevin Antunes’ reworked versions of MJ hits throughout the album. It also features mash-ups and cuts from the original choir vocals used by Michael himself.

“Michael's legacy as the greatest entertainer of our lifetime is inspiring beyond words,” said Atunes. “From the studio to the stage, there's an undeniable integrity and resolute truth in Michael's vocal performances that are highlighted in the Immortal arrangements.

“It was built with love and respect for Michael's music, his family, and his millions of fans around the world.”

The release coincides with the Cirque Du Soleil Michael Jackson tribute tour, ‘Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour’, which began this week – but it also comes a month after the controversial Michael Forever tribute concert, which is due to go on this Saturday in Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.
