U2 To Document Historic 360 World Tour in New Book

Irish rock legends U2 will turn their world-beating 360 tour into a book, it has been revealed.

The documented trip is to be penned by GQ magazine editor Dylan Jones, who was allowed to travel with the band and hang out backstage. The book will apparently be titled ‘U2360: The Official Story of the Greatest Spectacle in Stadium-Rock History’.

And what a spectacle it was – the band played 110 shows in the space of just over two years, with seven different legs. They made a healthy $736,137,144 from the run of gig too – meaning it was more than worth it for Bono and co. It also meant the tour was the highest grossing ever.

The book is expected to see a release in around October time next year – meaning U2 fans can read all about their favourite’s epic journey around the world, which saw the band perform to an estimated audience of 7.2million people.
