A little after 3:05pm, October 18th 2011, Ian Brown, John Squire, Mani and Reni entered London's Soho Hotel conference room to announce they will play two massive shows at Manchester's Heaton Park in June 2012 as part of a new world tour. The foursome also revealed that fans can look forward to brand new material. Ladies and Gentlemen, The Stone Roses are back!
After days of rumours, The Stone Roses have now officially confirmed they will return in Summer 2012 for an extensive world tour, including two huge homecoming shows at Manchester's 70,000 capacity Heaton Park.
In addition to the tour announcement, the legendary Manchester group also confirmed they will be releasing new material in time for the live shows next year. For more details on the reunion, check out the group's brand new website www.thestoneroses.org.

The Stone Roses UK Tour Dates are as follows:
June 2012
June 29th - Heaton Park, Manchester
June 30th – Heaton Park, Manchester
