Melodic hardcore band Alesana have confirmed details of a new European tour early next year, which includes several dates in the UK. Fellow US rockers We Came As Romans will be providing support along with Iwrestledabearonce and British metallers Glamour of the Kill. See below for dates and tickets.
Alesana’s fourth album ‘Place Where the Sun is Silent’ was released today through Epitaph Records, making it the band’s first record with the label. The video to album track ‘Circle VII: Sins of the Lion’ can be watched below.
Speaking about the new tour dates, Alesana frontman Shawn Milke said: “Grab a friend, grab your daggers and get your asses out to see us when the calendar turns to 2012. Come see what life is like when it is trapped below the earth in a place where the sun is silent.”
Alesana were formed in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2004 and released their debut album ‘On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax’ in 2006. Following the release of their third album ‘The Emptiness’ early last year, the band announced that they would be leaving Fearless Records after four years to move to renowned label Epitaph.
