Fleet Foxes Share Video Teaser for ‘The Shrine/An Argument’ – Watch Now

Fleet Foxes have released a short teaser clip of the forthcoming video for their track ‘The Shrine/An Argument’, which you can watch below. The full video, which is expected to be released shortly, is an animated film directed by Sean Pecknold, the older brother of Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold. Sean has also directed several of the band’s earlier videos.
‘The Shrine/An Argument’, which is over eight minutes in length, is one of the tracks taken from Fleet Foxes’ second album ‘Helplessness Blues’. The album reached Number Two in the UK Albums Chart upon its release earlier this year.
Fleet Foxes were formed in 2006 and released their eponymous debut album in 2008. The album has since been certified Platinum in the UK. Fleet Foxes will be performing a one-off date at Leeds O2 Academy on Thursday 1st December – see below for tickets. Support for the show will come from the band’s Bella Union label-mates Vetiver, who recently released their own album ‘The Errant Charm’.
Fleet Foxes were previously announced as one of the headliners for December’s annual All Tomorrow’s Parties event in Minehead. However, since the festival was postponed until March last week, there has been no confirmation of whether or not the band will still be performing at the rescheduled date.
