Jon Spencer Blues Explosion Announce March Show At London's Scala

American rock trio The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion have announced plans to play a ATP show at London's Scala on Thursday 8th March 2012.

Forming in 1991, Jon Spencer, founding guitarist and vocalist of Pussy Galore, hooked up with Honeymoon Killers drummer Russell Simins and guitar ace Judah Bauer to create music largely rooted in rock and roll.

Drawing influences from punk, blues, garage, rockabilly, soul, noise rock, rhythm and blues and rap, armed with guitars and drums, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion are inspired by the spirits of Jerry Lee Lewis, James Brown and Howlin' Wolf.

The trio have announced they will play an ATP show on 8th March 2012 at London's Scala. Jon Spencer Blues Explosion Tickets are onsale from 10am on Monday 28th November.
