The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion is an American alternative rock and ‘punk blues’ outfit hailing from New York City. Formed in 1991, the trio consists of frontman Jon Spencer on vocals and guitar, Judah Bauer on guitar and harmonica, and Russell Simins on drums. They predominantly perform rock and roll, but draw influences from hip-hop, punk, soul, and of course, blues!
Over the years, they’ve released a number of albums, EPs, singles, collaborations, compilations, and everything in between, picking up fans - and bookings - across all four corners of the globe.
