Anthrax Confirm Date At London's O2 Academy Islington

New York City Metal legends Anthrax have announced a UK show for 15th March 2012 at London's Islington O2 Academy.
When thrash metal began to gain a major following in the mid-to-late 1980s, Anthrax were dubbed one of the "big four" of thrash metal alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer. Following a few line-up changes the band are still going strong and released their tenth studio album 'Worship Music' in the UK last month.
'Worship Music' is Anthrax's first album of original material since their 2003 'We've Come for You All' and the first to feature original singer Joey Belladonna since 1990's 'Persistence of Time'. Following a sensational “big four” performance at this Summer's UK Sonisphere festival, Anthrax will return to showcase material from the new album at London's Islington O2 Academy in March 2012.
