Californian rock megastars the Red Hot Chili Peppers have revealed more dates for their ‘I’m With You’ US tour, which kicks off in January next year.
The Chilis initially revealed dates where they’d rock out venues in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee in January, but now we know that they’ll also be heading out to Florida, Texas, Los Angeles, Oklahoma and Arizona for gigs throughout January, February and March.
Tickets for the for the North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee shows are all on sale now, with the remaining tickets going on sale December 10th. The 2012 arena tour will be the band's first full-scale tour of the U.S. since 2007, when they hit the road in support of 2006's Stadium Arcadium.
Universally known as one of the most successful acts in rock history, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have sold more than 60million albums worldwide, including five multi-platinum LPs. They’ve even managed to get their hands on six Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Album’ for Stadium Arcadium, ‘Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group’ for ‘Dani California,’ ‘Best Rock Song’ for ‘Scar Tissue,’ and ‘Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal’ for ‘Give It Away.’
