Red Hot Chili Peppers are an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, consisting of Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer.

Formed in 1983, the band released their debut self-titled album the following year. The band have released 11 albums across their career, including ‘Blood Sugar Sex Magik’, released in 1991, that won the band their first Grammy Award, as well as ‘Californication’, in 1999 and ‘Stadium Arcadium’ in 2006, which hit #1 in the Billboard Hot 200. The band released their latest album, ‘The Getaway’, in June 2016.

The band have been festival headliners since the early 1990’s, having appeared at Lollapalooza, Pukkelpop and Reading and Leeds, Fuji Rock, Roskilde, Oxygen, Tennant’s Vital, T In The Park and Coachella, as well as having headlined their own arena and stadium tours across the USA, Europe and the UK.
