Arctic Monkeys Enjoying US Sucess

English indie rockers Arctic Monkeys have moved one step closer to cracking the states, with frontman Alex Turner claiming that the Americans are starting to ‘really like us’.

After making their mark on the UK, with each of their four studio albums topping the UK Album Charts, the band have set off on tour across the states in an attempt to take their latest LP offering ‘Suck It and See’ to international success.

And, although they got off to a rocky start, with their album ending up being censored by a lot of US Supermarkets, it seems to be working – and Turner is really happy with the results.

“We're in a good place,” Turner enthused. “Just coming to the end of this American tour, but it's been really good. America has really started to like us. We've started getting a really good response.”

Their strenuous tour has seen them earning fans all over the country, but the band won’t be stopping there. After a winter break, the band will head out to Spain and France for live dates, before heading back to the US and Canada to for another long tour.
