Guillemots Release ‘I Don’t Feel Amazing Now’ Remix – Listen Now

Guillemots have announced that they will be bringing 2011 to a close by releasing a remix of recent single ‘I Don’t Feel Amazing Now’ as a free download. The remix, by South Wales-based quartet Friends Electric has been made available via Guillemots’ http://soundcloud.com/guillemots/guillemots-i-dont-feel-amzing SoundCloud page and can also be heard below.
‘I Don’t Feel Amazing Now’, which was released in October, is the third single to be taken from Guillemots’ latest album ‘Walk the River’. The album is the band’s third to date and follows 2008’s ‘Red’, which entered the Top 10 of the UK Albums Chart. Guillemots have previously been nominated for a BRIT award, an NME award and, in 2006, the Mercury Prize for their debut album ‘Through the Windowpane’.
In the three years prior to the release of ‘Walk the River’, Guillemots frontman Fyfe Dangerfield spent time recording and touring his first solo album ‘Fly Yellow Moon’. The album included a cover of the Billy Joel track ‘She’s Always A Woman’, which was subsequently released as a single and became a Top 10 hit. The song recently appeared on the charity album ‘Reworked’, a collection of cover songs featured in adverts for John Lewis in aid of Save The Children. The album includes Ellie Goulding’s hit cover of Elton John’s ‘Your Song’ as well as versions of The Smiths’ ‘This Charming Man’ by The Pierces and The Kooks’ ‘Shine On’ by Nerina Pallot. ‘Reworked’ is available to purchase via iTunes.
