Kids In Glass Houses, Deaf Havana, The Wonder Years & More Confirmed For Hit The Deck Festival 2012

Nottingham's Hit The Deck Festival is back, returning for a second year following the success of last year's event, which saw the likes of Underoath, The Blackout, Young Guns, Cancer Bats and and many more grace Nottingham's best venues for a day packed full of high quality rock, hardcore, punk and metal.

Hit The Deck 2012 takes place on April 22nd 2012 at Nottingham's Rock City, Rescue Rooms, The Forum and Stealth venues. 

Speaking of this years event, promoter Amy Biggin, says: "We’re really excited to be announcing the first wave of bands for Hit The Deck 2012. As well as the bands we’re also really excited about bringing on board a new venue The Forum, so we now have a six stages across four venues. Hit The Deck is getting BIGGER!"

Confirmed to appear at Hit The Deck 2012 so far, are: Kids In Glass Houses, Deaf Havana, The Wonder Years, Of Mice & Men, We Are The In Crowd, The Swellers, Every Avenue, Shadows Chasing Ghosts, Wolves Like Us, Yashin Silent Screams, Imperial Leisure, Blackstorm, Juinius and many more to be announced in the coming weeks.

Speaking of his bands headlining slot of Hit The Deck, Kids In Glass Houses frontman, Aled Phillips, says: "We're stoked to be headlining Hit The Deck, it will probably be our first festival of 2012 so we'll be ready to smash it. We heard great things about this years festival and know next year will top it!"
