Professor Brian Cox Adds Extra Arena Shows In Plymouth And Swansea To Emergence World Tour

Professor Brian Cox has added extra UK shows to his Emergence World Tour.
The musician-turned-physicist, television presenter and author will double up at Plymouth Arena on October 25 and Swansea's Building Society Arena on December 10. Tickets for Plymouth are on sale now, with Swansea tickets on sale at 10am tomorrow (July 24).
The new dates form part of the previously announced autumn UK and Ireland leg of the trek, which will begin on October 7 with the first of two dates at Edinburgh Playhouse and conclude at Dublin's 3Arena on November 14.
Cox began his Emergence World Tour with European shows in the spring, followed by dates in Australia, New Zealand and Asia in May and June. He's got another round of European shows lined up in September and North American dates at the end of the year and in early 2027.
Commenting on the new show, which explores how simple laws of physics create the beauty of snowflakes, galaxies, and life itself, he said:
"I’ve loved creating Emergence – it’s the most ambitious live show I’ve ever written. I’ve been very lucky to collaborate with a wonderful group of scientists, musicians, filmmakers and graphic artists to bring cosmology, biology, philosophy and history to the largest and most advanced LED screens available, with the best sound and lights I could find. I hope the show is an all-encompassing experience, and I hope it leaves everyone, whether they love science or music or history, or simply contemplating the beauty of Nature, with something new to think about."
