Professor Brian Cox Confirms Emergence World Tour UK Preview Shows For February And March

Professor Brian Cox has announced a series of intimate shows ahead of his new world tour Emergence.
The musician-turned-physicist, television presenter and author will preview material for the new trek at intimate UK venues between February 5 and March 20.
Stops include Oxford, Guildford, Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Southampton, Fareham, St. Albans, Brighton, Salisbury, Cardiff, Coventry and four dates at Richmond Theatre in London.
Cox is currently on the road preparing for his world tour with Work In Progress shows, and appears at Watford Palace Theatre tonight and tomorrow (December 18 and 19).
He'll begin his Emergence World Tour with European shows in the spring, dates in Australia, New Zealand and Asia in May and June, another round of European shows in September, UK and Ireland dates in the autumn, and North American dates in late 2026 and early 2027. Commenting on the new show, which explores how simple laws of physics create the beauty of snowflakes, galaxies, and life itself, Cox said:
"I’ve loved creating Emergence – it’s the most ambitious live show I’ve ever written. I’ve been very lucky to collaborate with a wonderful group of scientists, musicians, filmmakers and graphic artists to bring cosmology, biology, philosophy and history to the largest and most advanced LED screens available, with the best sound and lights I could find. I hope the show is an all-encompassing experience, and I hope it leaves everyone, whether they love science or music or history, or simply contemplating the beauty of Nature, with something new to think about."
Tickets for his new preview shows in Fareham, Brighton, Cardiff and Coventry go on general sale at 10am on Friday (December 19). All other dates are on sale now.
