Barbados-born beauty Rihanna has been named the highest-selling digital musician of all time, beating superstars like Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry to the crown.
The ‘Umbrella’ singer managed to (digitally) shift 47.5million copies of her tracks and albums since she started out, just over 5million more copies than second place Black Eyed Peas. Rapper Eminem is next on the list, who sold 42.2million. Lady Gaga is close behind him with 42million, and Taylor Swift completes the top five with 41.8million.
Rihanna has been enjoying incredible success with her career as of late, smashing record after record and topping highest-selling lists as well as album and single charts. She was even named the ‘most talked-about singer’ on Facebook last year, and has over 48million ‘Likes’.
