Dave Grohl Working With Ratt Stars On New Track

Hard rock superstar Dave Grohl has reportedly been working with members of veteran metal band Ratt for a new side-project, according to Noise Creep.

Foo Fighters star Grohl, who’s also played in Queens of the Stone Age and Nirvana, has been writing a track with mainstay Ratt members Stephen Pearcy and Warren DeMartini – a group which is currently known as TBA.

Pearcy is happy to be working with a star of such high calibre, and said: “We'll let [Dave] tell you about when he's ready, kidz. Not for a Ratt record.” He then went on to tweet: “Thing is it's a way cool thing of Dave. We're just privileged to b a part of that. Next Ratt!”

But, don’t worry Foo Fighters fans – the band will definitely be working on their own new album soon, despite only releasing their latest LP effort just 9 months ago.

“We're not finished yet,” Grohl said of the Foo Fighters. “There are still more shows to play, more songs to write, more albums to record, for years to come. I mean if you would have told me 17 years ago that in 2012 I would be writing songs for our eighth studio album...well.”

Stay with Stereoboard to find out more on this collaboration in the near future.
