X-Factor boy-band One Direction had a major scare on Wednesday – after their tour bus was involved a car crash.
The band had been zipping around the country going from gig to gig, when a car smashed into their bus on Wednesday night. The car was reportedly travelling at 30mph when it hit the bus, meaning the boys are lucky to walk away unscathed.
A source close to the lads told The Sun: “It was a close call. The lads and their two tour managers were pretty shaken up and were treated for varying degrees of whiplash. Yesterday they were seen by an osteopath who gave them the all-clear.”
And, while some would maybe take a few days off their tour after going through such an ordeal, the boys instead made their way straight to Plymouth as soon as they were given the all-clear – to avoid letting their fans down.
“They came close to cancelling because of the crash but the boys didn't want to let down their avid fans. As soon as they got the all-clear they decided to go ahead with the gig. Its lucky dancing in their live shows is kept to a minimum so it did not put extra stress on their bodies.”
