Vains Of Jenna calls it quits

Swedish rockers, Vains of Jenna have announced that the band has officially parted ways after seven years of making music together.

An official statement was released through the band’s Facebook page on Friday night, which read:

“We have amicably and mutually decided to end Vains Of Jenna. There's no drama behind the decision. We simply feel like it is time to move on in our lives and closer this chapter. It has been a truly amazing journey for us over the years and we are greatful for the opportunity to do what we’ve done with this band.

The announcement came just 10 months after singer Jesse Forte, replaced vocalist and comrade Lizzy Devine, and became the newest addition to join the group’s ranks last March.

The glam quartet who completed a full UK tour last year, ended the statement by adding: “[we would like to say] a huge thanks to everyone involved, all our supporters, and of course all of our fans from around the world. We love you. 1,2,3,4 THE END!!!”

Vains of Jenna formed in Falkenberg, Sweden during January 2005 and later moved to Los Angeles, California, after being offered a chance to play Cruefest, Hollywood, though half the band currently resides back in Sweden. Their common influences include Mötley Crüe, Guns N' Roses, the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Nirvana, and Hanoi Rocks.
