Dizzee Rascal To Headline Snowbombing After Snoop Dogg Pulls Out

British rap star Dizzee Rascal has been drafted in to replace hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg at this year’s Snowbombing Festival after the Californian cancelled his up and coming European tour – including his slot at the Austrian festival.

The unique festival is a week-long sports and music event this year held in a snowy ski resort in the town of Mayrhofen. Originally starting as an electronic music and DJ orientated festival, it’s addition of live acts in 2008 has seen the festival has become bigger and bigger – with more famous and well-known acts playing every year.

This year’s festival takes place from April 9th -14th, and will see the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Example, DJ Shadow, Groove Armada and Redlight, The Vaccines and Fat Boy Slim all performing, with hundreds of other names playing too.

Electronic music fans will be treated to the likes of Chase and Status, Skream, Andy C & MC GQ, High Contrast (who has a new album out very soon), London Elektricity, Nu:Tone, Netsky, and Shy FX. A full line-up can be seen here.
