Gemma Ray Unveils Music Video For 'How Do I Get To Carnegie Hall' - Watch Now

Gemma Ray has unveiled the official video for 'How Do I Get To Carnegie Hall'. The track is taken from the forthcoming double a-side single 'Gemma Ray sings Sparks (with Sparks)' which sees her working with legendary duo Sparks on new versions of their original songs 'How Do I Get To Carnegie Hall' and 'Eaten By The Monster of Love'.

This curious collaboration came about when Sparks (Ron & Russell Mael) dared Gemma to attempt one of their songs. They eventually ended up choosing two and once Gemma had brought her torch-singing noir style to them, Ron & Russell took the newly styled versions and re-built them Sparks-style.

The video for 'How Do I Get To Carnegie Hall' is now available on Gemma Ray's YouTube channel. You can also check it out below.

Set to be released as a double a-side single on 20th February, the two tracks from 'Gemma Ray sings Sparks (with Sparks)' will also feature as bonus tracks on Gemma's forthcoming solo album 'Island Fire' which will is released on 16th April.

Having recently played HMV's Next Big Thing in London, Gemma Ray is currently supporting Kitty, Daisy & Lewis on tour in Europe and will then head out to Austin, Texas to play at this year's SXSW.
