JLS Première Music Video For Sport Relief Single 'Proud' - Watch Now

Pop chart kings JLS have this morning released the video for their upcoming single 'Proud' set for release on March 18th for Sport Relief 2012. The video sees three British Olympic medal winners, Rebecca Adlington, Phillips Idowu and Louis Smith join JLS to promote this years Sport Relief campaign.
In addition to new song 'Proud', JLS have also confirmed they will perform two special Sport Relief concerts at London's O2 Arena on 24th March. The boyband will perform during the evening as well as giving an afternoon show at 2.00pm. Olly Murs and Rizzle Kicks will also perform on the bill. JLS 2012 Sport Relief Concert Date is as follows:
Directed by Ben Winston, who directed and co-wrote the infamous Smithy sketches for Comic Relief, the 'Proud' video sees JLS performing in an empty Wembley Stadium as the stories of three gifted children unfold. One young boy displays a remarkable talent for leaping; another impresses with his acrobatic break dancing abilities; and a young girl dances triumphantly in the rain as others run for cover.
As Rebecca Adlington, Phillips Idowu and Louis Smith emerge into Wembley Stadium at the end of the video, it is clear that the stories that have unfolded are those of these great British athletes. Everything they have done in their lives, sometimes without even knowing it, has been part of their journey to strive for greatness. As the athletes carry the Union Jack it is clear that they, too, want to make their country 'Proud'.
Speaking about the charity single, JLS commented: "We are so excited to be a part of Sport Relief this year. To have the official single is an absolute honour for us and we really hope that the song raises an amazing sum of money for such a fantastic cause!"

Last year, you may recall Little Britain star David Walliams swimming along the River Thames in London to help raise more than £1 million for the Sport Relief charity. Other celebrities taking part in sponosored running events this year include Olly Murs, Lorraine Kelly, Kara Tointon and James Cracknell. In addition, Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton is currently undertaking a sponsored 500-mile trek to the South Pole.
A special fund-raising television show will be broadcast live on BBC One on 23rd March, presented by Claudia Winkleman, Fearne Cotton and Gary Lineker.
JLS are to embark on another arena tour later this year. The Fourth Dimension Tour will see them play at some of the UK's biggest arenas during March and April.
