The Treatment Confirm Live Dates With Steel Panther & Thin Lizzy

Cambridge outfit The Treatment, whose new single/video ‘The Doctor’ has just been released, have confirmed an extensive run of European dates between March and May of this year, along with a festival appearance in Belgium.

Having just completed the final (re-scheduled) shows on their ‘Medication To The Nation’ headline UK tour (check out Stereoboard's review of their Cardiff date HERE), The Treatment will now be Special Guesting with both Steel Panther and Thin Lizzy, kicking off with the full Steel Panther European tour in March – a 15-date run starting in Helsinki, Finland on March 11th. Steel Panther 2012 UK Tour Dates, with The Treatment acting as sole support, are as follows

Mar 27th – Birmingham, O2 Academy
Mar 28th – Glasgow, O2 Academy
Mar 30th – Manchester, O2 Academy
Mar 31st – London, Brixton Academy

Following this tour, The Treatment will be taking to the road with legendary rockers Thin Lizzy in May. UK outfit Black Spiders complete the bill. Thin Lizzy 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:

May 15th – Coventry, Kasbah
May 16th – Guildford, G Live
May 18th – Liverpool, O2 Academy
May 19th – Edinburgh, HMV Picture House
May 20th – Middlesbrough, The Empire
May 22nd – Nottingham, Rock City
May 23rd – Norwich, UEA
May 24th – Bournemouth, O2 Academy

The Treatmentwill also be announcing a series of European festival dates for the spring and summer, with Grasspop in Dessel, Belgium already confirmed for June 24th.

With regards to studio news, The Treatment have recently been laying down tracks for a brand new EP. As with the band’s debut album, ‘This Might Hurt’, released by Spinefarm Records last year, production has been overseen by Laurie Mansworth at Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris’ Barnyard Studios, with Tony Newton taking care of the mix.
