Funeral Of Whitney Houston To Be Streamed Live On Internet

The funeral of late singing superstar Whitney Houston will be streamed over the internet so all can see, according to reports.

The funeral is set to take place on Saturday February 18th in the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark – where Houston sang as a child. And, after the Associated Press managed to set up a deal with Houston’s publicist Kristen Foster, the event will be available to watch online – and possibly on television, too. Set for a 5pm start, the funeral will see Houston’s body transported in a golden hearse for her final send-off.

Houston’s death on Saturday evening is still unexplained, with some believing she drowned in the bathtub she was found in, while ‘family sources’ believe the star died of a prescription drug overdose. Comedian and actor Tommy Chong claimed yesterday that the star would still be alive had she ’stuck to pot’ and not used harder drugs.

In recent Houston news, Sony Music have apologised after hiking the prices of Houston’s albums on iTunes just a day after her tragic death.

The company said: “Whitney Houston product was mistakenly mispriced on the UK iTunes store on Sunday. When discovered, the mistake was immediately corrected. We apologise for any offence caused.”
