Sonisphere Tickets Now On-Sale!

Weekend and Day Tickets for this year’s Knebworth Sonisphere Festival go on-sale today, meaning you can start planning your adventures to Knebworth – where rock legends Queen, Kiss and Faith No More will all be performing headline sets.

Sonisphere always promises to be a massive festival with a tremendous array of metal and rock bands and 2012 is no different – boasting some of the biggest headlining names of any festival this year so far. One of the most anticipated performances is KISS – and with a reputation for being perhaps the most flamboyant and entertaining band on the planet, the American kings of glam-rock will bring their stage extravaganza to Sonisphere as their only European performance of 2012.

Knebworth was also the setting for Queen's final concert with Freddie Mercury in August 1986. Brain May and Roger Taylor also confirmed that for this very special event they will be joined by US singer-songwriter Adam Lambert. Speaking of Lambert’s inclusion, Brian May said: “Judging by my incoming mail, this decision will make a lot of people very happy. It's a worthy challenge for us, and I'm sure Adam would meet with Freddie's approval! And what better place to revisit, and walk those emotional paths than Knebworth? It will be a rush.”

For the finale, Sunday night, Sonisphere have announced the legendary Faith No More as the headline act on the Apollo stage. Onstage irreverent, uncompromising, unpredictable and dazzling at every turn, FNM have been setting new standards in exciting rock performance for more than two decades now.

Joining the star-studded line-up is an incredible list of musicians and bands, including Incubus, Gojira, Cypress Hill, Lacuna Coil, Marilyn Manson, Mastodon, I Killed the Prom Queen and a whole range of other bands. So, it’s pretty clear that if you’re fan of rock, metal, or just good music – Sonisphere is the place to be. So make sure you don’t miss out on your chance to get tickets for the event!

Sonisphere takes place from July 6th – July 8th.
