Atomic Kitten To Return For Tour And Jubilee Performance According To Daily Star

Dance-pop girl group Atomic Kitten gearing up for yet another reunion according to the Daily Star – with a performance at the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations lined-up as well as a full-scale tour.

The tabloid reports that Atomic Kitten will make a return to the pop scene once again, for the first time since they released 2008 single ‘Anyone Who Had a Heart’, which managed to hit #78 in the UK charts. Amazingly, Kerry Katona could also be up for the reunion – with Natasha Hamilton offering the star a chance to jump on ship when Atomic Kitten make their comeback.

“We're really excited about getting back together and singing again,” Hamilton told the Daily Star. “We've all been doing our own thing but we thought the time was right to reform. I think it will be fun to go on tour to perform for a whole new generation of fans.

“A lot of our fans will have kids now so it would be great if they can both come along to watch us and enjoy our music. We'd love to be able to perform for the Queen's Jubilee celebrations. We're open to all options at the moment.”

She continued on to talk about the possible inclusion of Katona, saying: “I ran into Kerry recently and we just hugged and got on really well. We both have kids around the same age so we talked a lot about them. It was lovely to see her. It would be great if we could all get on stage and sing together.”

Coincidentally, the group was rumoured to represent Britain at the next Eurovision event – but the story has since been rubbished since Engelbert Humperdinck was announced as the UK performer.
