Rihanna Talks About Katy Perry Duet: "It's Gonna Happen"

Barbados-born beauty Rihanna has told fans that a collaboration with superstar Katy Perry will happen – admitting that they’d been working on something together for ‘years’.

ImageRihanna is one of the hottest properties in pop music at the moment and is also one of the most sought-after collaborators. With Perry also one of the biggest names in the scene, a record featuring the two would surely be a best-seller – and the pair of performers both think so too.

There’ve been rumours for months and months that they’d be doing something together – now Rihanna has confirmed that they are hoping to put something out, and has promised it won’t be too long until it hit shelves.

“We are still trying to make a song together, Katy Perry and I,” Rihanna told Access Hollywood. “She is one of my favourite musicians as well as one of my favourite people in the industry. She's very uncalculated, very sure of herself, and that's something that's very rare in this industry to find. We connected really quickly.”

She continued on to talk about a possible release date for the track, adding: “The song will probably come out in a while. I can't say it's happening right now, but it's going to happen.”
