London-based dream-pop band exlovers have unveiled ‘This Love Will Lead You On’, a brand new single slated for an April 23rd release.
The track is the latest to be taken from their highly-anticipated debut album ‘Moth’, which hits shelves on June 18th, sees exlovers continue to combine their boy-girl harmonies with lo-fi guitars to create instantly warming beautiful wistful indie-pop - providing a glimpse of what’s to come from their aforementioned debut.
Recorded during their album sessions a Rockfield Studios in Wales with Demian Castellanos and Jimmy Robertson (Florence and The Machine, Big Pink), the track starts with an instant driving and pulsating guitar melody, and has an immediate appeal as the boy-girl harmonies from Pete and Laurel draw you in. With a nostalgic 90s indie sound, exlovers are reminiscent of artists such as Teenage Fanclub, The Cure and The Dandy Warhols.
‘This Love Will Lead You On’ is due for release on 23rd April through Young & Lost Club and will be the first official release from the debut album ‘Moth’. You can check out the track below.
