Noel Gallagher: 'Some US Guy Made Fun Of My Hair'

Mancunian rocker Noel Gallagher has revealed how a fan in the US took the mick out of him – because he had similar hair to Phil Spector, the record producer who famously shot actress Lana Clarkson in the head.

Gallagher is currently in the US touring with his new band The High Flying Birds, and is keeping fans up to date on his shenanigans via his personal website. Recently, he’s been having an interesting time, and has told of his run in with alternative rockers Kasabian – and a fan who took the piss out of his hair.

Noel wrote: “I'm just stood at some traffic lights waiting to cross the street when some guy slopes up to me and says, 'Hey man I don't mean to disrespect you', [now that usually means you're about to be disrespected] ‘but you do realise you got a little 80's thing going on with your hair there? You look like that... who was that motherfucker producer who shot that bitch in the face? Phil Spector! You look like Phil Spector!' Seriously that just happened to me.”

He continued: “Have a guess who checked in to this hotel this morning? Only blimming Kasabian. What are the odds on that? Unbelievable.”
