One Direction Confirm Headline Show At New York's Madison Square Garden

One Direction fever continues to sweep across the US with the lads confirming that they are to headline a concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden this Winter.
One Direction, consisting of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, were recently written into the history books as the first UK act to enter the US Billboard 200 at Number One with debut album 'Up All Night'. One Direction's North American tour kicks-off at the Patriot Center, Fairfax VA and will see the boys performing across the continent.
Speaking about the Madison Square Garden show, Harry revealed his excitement via his Twitter account: "Can't believe we will be performing at MSG later this year!"
He continued: “Thanks to ALL the fans who always support us. Thanks to our UK & Irish fans and fans all over the world. We owe all our success to you!!!!”
Niall had a similar response to the news, commenting on Twitter: “We are so happy to be playing Madison Square Garden. To be headlining our OWN show in a venue that has played host to countless legendary acts that we have grown up listening to and adore is obviously a dream come true for us all. We can’t wait to play for our fans on December 3rd.”
