The 2000Trees Line-Up Nearly Complete - More Acts Announced

In case you were, mistakenly, thinking that 2000trees had yet to get its act together and announce a load of awesome bands then this latest announcement should have changed your mind.

Of most pressing concern to many punters will be the addition of indie weirdoes Guillemots to the bill as the Saturday night main stage headliner in what should be an awesome climax to an awesome weekend.

Another big name has agreed to appear in the shape of The
Futureheads, who will sub 65daysofstatic on the Friday night and play a special acapella set in the small Leaf Lounge tent. Meanwhile the other big news is that Three Trapped Tigers will headline the early entry Thursday night. This may be a slightly surprising move for some
but if you are part of that “some” I am guessing you probably haven’t seen their absolute blitzkrieg of a live show.

There are plenty more bands that have also been confirmed now for lower slots. The delectable Lucy Rose will headline the Leaf Lounge on Saturday and there will be main stage slots for Summer Camp, SCUM and Sonic Boom Six amongst others. As ever the line-up is an astonishing selection of the very best British music has to offer...from the
heaviness of Gallows through the cinematic atmospherics of Maybeshewill towards the lovable singalongs of Ben Marwood. This is one weekend you really do not want to miss this summer.

Tickets are still available from the 2000trees website, although the early entry night is now sold out (don’t worry; we’ll have an extra pint or two on the Thursday to mourn your absence).

www.twothousandtreesfestival.co.uk is the place to go. The festival takes place from the 12th to 14th July.
