Nicki Minaj To Take 'Roman Zolanski' Alter-Ego On To Big Screen?

Following on from her claims that she may retire from the music industry, Nicki Minaj has revealed that she may take her Roman Zolanski alter-ego out of music and into other mediums – with a potential book and film about the gay male already on the cards.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Minaj revealed that Roman is a big part of her life and career, and is hoping that she'll be able to use him to expand her horizons – adding that she thinks Roman relates to a lot of her fans, and that it would make sense to continue telling his story.
Asked if a Roman Zolanski fragrance could be on the way, Minaj replied: “Yeah, that would freakin' be amazing. I'm actually working on something like that, but don't tell anyone! Definitely with the movie and I was thinking about a book as well. I feel like Roman represents a lot of people and it would be good to tell his story and therefore tell their story. So we'll see. People really gravitate towards Roman - he's a crazy little boy. I love him because he says what no-one else will say and so he's a good friend to have next to you.”
It follows the star's comments which suggest that she may be considering a retirement from music in the near future.
She told Tim Westwood: “People aren’t even giving the kid props for taking it back to that essence. This is my fourth mixtape, really. The kid did like that to feed her fans. But really now, the kid thinking maybe she should leave the game. Not my babies, not my barbz, but all these other folk... ...make the kid leave the game.”
