Hip-Hop Star Wiz Khalifa Cited By Police Over Cannabis Possession

Hip-hop and rap star Wiz Khalifa apparently landed himself in trouble with the police over the weekend, with TMZ reporting that the American got caught smoking weed by police.
Khalifa, who is no stranger when it comes to the herb – his third album was entitled 'Rolling Papers' and he is a known advocate for cannabis – was busy hot-boxing his hotel room in Nashville on Saturday (April 21st), when the police knocked on the door.
They then saw the star flick what was described as a 'marijuana cigarette' (a joint to you and me) out of the hotel window – but the smell was enough to give them away. The police reportedly managed to find the discarded roach, though Khalifa admitted possession of the controlled substance anyway, and kindly handed the star a citation instead of throwing him in the back of their patrol car.
He's not the first big name rap star to get into trouble because of cannabis this year (shock, horror!) - record producer and Black Kapital records boss Suge Knight was arrested earlier this year after being pulled over by police in Las Vegas.
