The X Factor 2011 Winners Little Mix & Cover Drive Confirmed For JLS Summer Tour Support

X-Factor winners Little Mix and Barbados-born band Cover Drive have been announced as the support acts for JLS and Alexandra Burke's up and coming UK tour.
The seven-date tour will see the acts performing at alternative, open-air venues in August and September, such as Oxford's South Park and Ipswich's Chantry Park, and has been billed as the 'Sound City Summer Tour'. Singer-songwriter A*M*E will also warm-up for the star-studded line-up.
JLS are the tour's headline act, while Alexandra Burke features as the main support act. X-Factor champions Little Mix have now joined the bill in what is their first real tour since winning the show in December, whilst Bajan stars Cover Drive come over for their first run of big dates following the release of their hit #1 single 'Twilight'.
Dion Clements, a spokesperson for the tour, said: “While we've known for a little while Little Mix might join JLS and Alexandra [Burke] on this summer tour, to be able to finally confirm it is amazing. And with Cover Drive also joining four of the six scream-inducing, trail-blazing shows, this tour offers unbeatable value for music fans, and places this tour firmly at the top of the 'must-do' list for the summer holidays.”
