Wiz Khalifa is an American rapper hailing from Minot, North Dakota. Known for his softer approach to hip-hop, that often helps him achieve great chart ratings, he kicked off his professional career in 2005, releasing his debut mixtape ‘Prince of the City: Welcome to Pistolvania’.
He first made a name for himself, though, in 2004, and was soon found by Rostrum Records boss Benjy Grinberg. After putting together some mixtapes, he soon found himself at the higher of the scale, and was picked up by Warner Bros. Records - sealing his fate as a superstar.
Since then, he’s released four studio albums, the first of which was 2006’s ‘Show and Prove’. He got on the tour bus and began performing across the US, picking up many a fan - and then began work on his next record. His second album ‘Deal or No Deal’ was his first to chart, hitting #10 in the US Rap Albums chart and paving the way for ‘Rolling Papers’ and later ‘O.N.I.F.C’, which #2 in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
'Blacc Hollywood' hit shelves in 2014, and was followed by 'Taylor Gang', 'Khalifa', the collboration with Juicy J and Tm88 'TGOD Mafia: Rude Awakening', and finally his lates, 2017's 'Laugh Now, Fly Later'.
Wiz Khalifa has announced a 'Kush & OJ' show at London’s Roundhouse in July, and will also co-headline the Dazed & Blazed Summer 2018 Tour with Rae Sremmurd, also featuring Lil Skies and O.T Genasis. Catch him live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
