'Oasis Were So Fucking Boring,' Says Franz Ferdinand Frontman Alex Kapranos

Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos has caused a bit of a stir on Twitter, after describing Britpop rockers Oasis as 'fucking boring'.
The star randomly decided to get into a question and answer session with fans on the social networking site, and they began bombarding him with all kinds of enquiries, from his favourite species of dinosaur to what advice he'd give to up and coming musicians. Replying to the latter, he wrote through his official account exactly what he thought...
“Never cover Oasis,” Kapranos wrote. “Never forget your friends. Always have a laugh.” He was then asked why they shouldn't cover Oasis, to which he replied: “Ach. Nothing personal. Just because everyone does. And they're so fucking boring.”
We've not seen any beef between the two bands before – but, as you can imagine, it wouldn't be surprising if Noel, Liam, or both made an angry, expletive-filled response before the end of tomorrow!
