Red Bull Bedroom Jam 2012 Festival Line-Up Announcement

The Red Bull Bedroom Jam results are in... After 16 weeks of bedroom based shows from up and coming talent, the industry expert judges - Daniel P Carter, Ben Patashnik, Andy Copping, Becky Sugden - have made their selection and the bands leading the festival chart have been chosen.

The results are:


Dead Harts
Dead Harts were the first band to play a Bedroom Jam show this year. The Nottinghamshire based hardcore punk group have played with the likes of Feed The Rhino, While She Sleeps, Martyr and Red Bull Bedroom Jam alumni, Heights. Watch here.

Adelaide
South London five-piece, Adelaide saw strong support from their fans take them to the top of the Buzz Chart and land them a Bedroom Jam show. With two E.P.s in the bag, they're raring to get through to the festivals! Watch here.

I Divide
I Divide are a rock five-piece from Exeter. Having already supported a strong list of bands including, Deaf Havana, InMe, Senses Fail and Protest The Hero, the judges thought they were set to take it took the next level. Watch here.

Mechanical Smile
Alternative Rock outfit, Mechanical Smile were the only band in the 15 who played Bedroom Jam shows from north of the border. The Scottish four-piece, who had just launched their new EP 'Into The Surface' at the time of recording their show, have previously played with Kassidy and Young Legionnaires. Watch here.

Reachback
Hailing from Harlow, Reachback were the 14th band to play a Bedroom Jam show and the second to last band to be selected to play one on the strength of their online Buzz. They played a great show, impressing the judges enough to get them through to the festival stage. Watch here.

Strangle Kojak
The Birmingham based rock four-piece Strangle Kojak have previously supported the likes of You Me At Six, Not Advised and The Beat. They entered Red Bull Bedroom Jam by uploading their track 'Careless' in January and had an impressive reaction from their fans, gaining enough support to get them through to the Bedroom Jam show stage (and now beyond). The Jellycats
The Jellycats are this year's Festival Buzz Chart topping act, getting through to the festival stage on the strength of their fans support alone. The Essex based Ska Punk/Pop band put their all into their Bedroom Jam show and are set to join the other seven bands on the Red Bull Bedroom Jam festival stage. Watch here.

Golden Tanks
This year's Wild Card band - the band picked from any of this year's Bedroom Jam entries by the judges are Golden Tanks. The five-piece post-hardcore band played the 16th and last Bedroom Jam show and automatically went through to the festival stage. Watch here.
