Lady Gaga Hints That Her Controversial Indonesia Show May Go Ahead

Following the on-going battle between promoters and extremists in Jakarta surrounding a Lady Gaga concert, which has seen extremists threatening ‘chaos’ should the star perform, Lady Gaga has suggested that the show may well go ahead.

Extremist Islamic figures have declared that they bring ‘chaos’ to Jakarta should the eccentric popstar perform, as they don’t like her ‘vulgar’ style or ‘satanic teaching’- something which has caused police to reportedly deny Lady Gaga a permit.

But, yesterday, Gaga wrote on her Twitter page: “The Jakarta situation is 2-fold: Indonesian authorities demand I censor the show & religious extremist separately, are threatening violence. If the show does go on as scheduled, I will perform the BTWBall alone.”

The tweet may cause a reaction from Islamic Defender Front chief Salim Alatas, who originally stated that Gaga was “a vulgar singer who wears only panties and a bra when she sings” and that she “stated she is the envoy of the devil's child and that she will spread satanic teaching.”
