Dub Pistols have called on fans far and wide to contribute to an exciting video concept for their standout single ‘Alive’, taken from their impending fifth album ‘Worshipping The Dollar’. The video will utilize the popular photo sharing app Instagram to bring together fan submitted images displaying their own attitude for what it’s like to be “Alive in 2012”. All fans need to do is take a picture using Instagram and add the hashtag #ImAlive2012 - on June 5th the fan’s submitted images will be downloaded and the best ones slotted into the video, which will be published around the single release on 25th June.
Dub Pistols were justifiably voted the Best Live Act at DJ Mag’s Best Of British Awards at the end of 2011 and are currently embarking on a non-stop run of festival dates over the summer including Bestival, Camp Bestival, Glade, Standon Calling, Strummercamp, Blissfields and Lounge on the Farm.
