Brendan Benson Debuts 'Pretty Baby' Video Online - Watch Now

Guitarist Brendan Benson has unveiled the music video for 'Pretty Baby', the product of a collaboration with country singer Ashley Monroe. 'Pretty Baby' is taken from Benson's new album 'What Kind Of World'.
Directed by Benson protégé Young Hines, the video sees Brendan in flight from an angry mob. For the eagle eyed amongst you, there’s even a cameo from Michael McDonald.
Released on Lojinx in the UK and Europe, 'What Kind Of World' is an album imbued with the newfound friendships and family life built in Brendan’s adopted home of Nashville.
Musicians such as Jon Auer (The Posies, Big Star), Ken Stringfellow (The Posies, Big Star, REM), both of whom Benson met at a concert to honor Alex Chilton, as well as Brad Pemberton (Ryan Adam’s Cardinals), Mark Watrous (Loudermilk, Gosling), and Sam Farrar (Phantom Planet) are members of his extended musical family who have contributed to the creation of his latest album
Created as an outlet for his own writing and production work, Benson’s Nashville based label Readymade Records and Publishing followed the release of 'What Kind Of World' with the debut album from Young Hines in May, produced by Benson himself.
