Liverpudlian metallers Carcer City have unveiled their brand new 'Mistakes I Have To Live With' video, ahead of the release of their debut album ‘The Road Journals', out on Monday 13th August as a free download.
The UK’s metal scene continues to flourish, with more and more bands graduating from the proud DIY club circuit to genuine worldwide contenders. Scouse quintet Carcer City are showing all of the right signs on their path to becoming contenders in their own right.
Having come together in the way most bands do - through college social groups and an incestuous local music scene - Carcer City was assembled as we know it now in early 2011.
‘The Road Journals’ serves as a fitting title, with its subject matter heavily focused and inspired by vocalist Patrick Pinion’s first experiences of life in a band and in particular, life on tour and the lessons you learn. Let’s make one thing clear though, such is the determination of Carcer City that they know what they want to be, and they won’t stop until they get there.
Early tours with the likes of Viatrophy, Heart In Hand, Monuments and While She Sleeps amongst others have quickly seen the band become a familiar face on the UK’s metal circuit, literally tearing venues apart along the way (see Croydon with While She Sleeps) with their first-rate live shows.
If you’re a fan of the band, you can catch them on tour alongside Malefice this September. Check the dates and details below to find yourself tickets.
