Scams Unveil New Single 'Lifeboats' - Listen Now

British rockers Scams have unveiled their brand new single ‘Lifeboats’ - out 10th September - as well as a new music video for their track ‘Pyramids’, which you can check out below.

The ever-brilliant Scams are back with their beautiful brand new album ‘Add and Subtract’, which hits shelves on 8th of October through Devil Duck Records. ‘Add and Subtract’ showcases the Leeds-based band as one of the finest upcoming indie/rock acts about - their experimental and varied instrumental sound demonstrates their range of musical interests, as well as highlighting frontman Andy’s endless depth and expressiveness in his vocal talent.

The album was recorded and produced in Hamburg back in November 2011 by Johann Scheerer and mixed by Matt Wignall at his home in Long Beach, California. The band have since returned to the studio to play a full album live playback session recorded directly to tape and set for vinyl release at the end of 2012. Having already gained support from XFM, Q Radio and Kerrang Radio, the band will release their second single ‘Lifeboats’ on 10th September.

In recent months, Scams have been showcasing their sound around Europe and the US, and are rapidly establishing a reputation as genuine purveyors of dynamic sounds, and an infectious live act. Supports so far have included New Politics, Cast, Azure Ray, Frankie and The Heartstrings, and White Rabbits. They’ll also be kick starting the BT London Live events in Victoria Park tonight, before moving on to Hyde Park to close the BT London Live event there. More UK dates are to be released very soon - so stay with Stereoboard to find out when Scams will be performing in a venue near you.
