Indie-folk star Amy Macdonald has unveiled her latest single and video ‘Pride’, out August 13th.
Amy Macdonald, one of Europe’s biggest selling singer-songwriters, returned this summer with brand new album ‘Life in a Beautiful Light’. The album saw great success, peaking at #2 in the UK Albums chart and hitting #1 in Scotland, Austria, and Germany.
Continuing the success of the record, she’ll release its next single - the beautiful ‘Pride’ - later this month. ‘Pride’ is a classic Macdonald track that 50,000 Scottish football fans will claim as their own - it could be an anthem for the Olympics, but in fact it was penned about the singer performing at Hampden Park.
The star’s new fame will culminate with her first UK tour of the year, a set of dates that will probably be one of the biggest and most-attended of her career. The gigs kick off in Salford Quays this October and will see her performing in Cardiff, Glasgow, London, and more.
