Guns N Roses have announced that they’ll be holding down a 12-show residency in Las Vegas this autumn, celebrating 25 years since ‘Appetite for Destruction’.
The band, now consisting of guitarists DJ Ashba, Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal, and Richard Fortus, keyboard players Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman, bassist Tommy Stinson, drummer Frank Ferrer, and, of course, Axl Rose, managed to sell out shows across Las Vegas around New Year’s Eve, and will now be putting on 12 shows throughout the course of October and November to celebrate 15 years since their seminal ‘Appetite for Destruction’ hit the shelves.
The residency, appropriately titled ‘Appetite for Democracy’ (a blend of ‘Appetite’ and their most recent record ‘Chinese Democracy’), will kick off on Wednesday 31st October, and will see the band putting on three shows a week - Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights - until November 24th. Tickets for the shows go onsale this Friday (August 17th), while the shows will take place in Las Vegas Hotel and Casino The Joint.
