Canadian rapper Drake and fellow star Chris Brown have reportedly been hit with a $16million lawsuit, following their nightclub brawl back in June.
The pair of stars have an ongoing feud that was brought to the attention of the media after a highly publicised fight in a New York nightclub, which started after Brown sent a bottle to Drake’s table - only for Drake to approach Brown and bring up Rihanna, with whom both have been romantically linked.
Now, Entertainment Enterprises - the company that owns the trademark for the Greenhouse, the club in which they fought - is suing both men personally, despite the club and its owners already being hit with lawsuits of their own. The lawsuit states that the pair should pay for the damage done to the club and its reputation.
Andrew T. Miltenberg, lawyer of Entertainment Enterprises Lt, has since told Fox News: “It's their posse, and they're in charge, and to the extent that they could have controlled or dissipated whatever was going on, we don't believe they did.”
It’s also been claimed that the incident, which took place on June 13th, resulted in the Greenhouse Club losing a deal which it had in the pipeline that would have seen more clubs licensed across the country.
