The winner of the recent EuroMillions lottery - who picked up a staggering £148million - has revealed that reuniting the original Guns N Roses line-up is top of his wishlist now that he’s entered the UK’s Top 1000 Rich List.
41 year-old Adrian Bayford, who runs his own music shop, has a rather large task in deciding what do with his incredibly large sum of money - but reforming his favourites Guns N Roses, complete with their original line-up, is high-up on the list.
Asked by The Sun what he'd spend his money on, he replied: "I’d have to get Guns N’ Roses together. I’m a real fan."
Unfortunately, there may not be enough money in the world to get them to perform together again - because, although Rose has performed with McKagan and Saddlin at a handful of events in recent years, Slash and Adler haven’t performed with him for a very long time - Slash as long as 20 years.
And, with the strongest of all rumours of a get-together dying out after Axl Rose failed to show up to the band’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame induction, it looks like the chances of buying a reunion may be out of question.
While he may not be able to convince the old GnR to return, he’ll still definitely be able to jet across to Las Vegas to catch the current incarnation of the band, who’ve just announced a 12-gig residency in The Joint, a hotel and casino.
If you’re in Las Vegas this autumn, you can find tickets and information on their residency by checking the link below.
