American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey has landed herself in controversy today, after it was revealed that she had posed naked for the front cover of the next GQ Magazine.
The star had been named as the magazine’s Woman of the Year, and was chosen to feature alongside James Corden, Robbie Williams, and Tinie Tempah. But, after it was revealed that she’d be posing naked - with the males all wearing suits - she found herself surrounded by criticism.
One of the the worst comments came from Hipster Runoff, who said ‘Lana Del Rey finally hits rock bottom, forced to pose naked’, while Twitter has gone mental with fans giving their 2 cents on her decision to get her kit off for the magazine - overshadowing the actual Woman of the Year accolade she picked up.
She has also received negative reviews for some of the other photos in the shoot, which see a man holding on to Del Rey by her neck.
As you can imagine, though, Twitter is also full of Lana Del Rey fans who are confused and upset that her photoshoot has been so ill-received. One user wrote:
