Danko Jones Launch Competition To Win Lifetime Entry To Any Of Their Future Live Dates

Canadian rockers Danko Jones have announced a competition for anyone buying the limited edition digipak version of their new album the chance to win free entry to any headline show the band play around the world – for the rest of their lives!

ImageAll copies of the digipak version of ‘Rock And Roll Is Black And Blue’ feature a bonus track, two stickers and a black guitar pick from Dunlop, but in ten of these there will be gold printed guitar pick. Those lucky enough to find one of these will be granted free entry to any Danko Jones headline show across the world and will also receive a special gift package as a bonus. The picks were spread out through the packing process at the pressing plant so the digipaks including the golden picks may appear in any store across the world.

The competition covers free entrance to any headline show around the world, excluding festival dates. Venue age restrictions may apply. No travel or accommodation is included in the prize.

Described as the most epic record the band have ever produced, ‘Rock And Roll Is Black And Blue’ is released on September 17th through Bad Taste Records. The new album follows the June release of 'Bring On The Mountain' – a two disc DVD featuring a 90 minute documentary, a short film, exclusive live clips from around the world and all the music videos they have ever done.

A lengthy European tour scheduled for October and November was announced during spring and with ticket sales already looking great we expect most shows to be sold out well before the doors open. Tour dates in Canada, US and Australia will be announced soon with more European touring and a busy festival summer in 2013 also on the horizon.
