The winner of the Welsh Music Prize 2010-2011 was ‘Hotel Shampoo’ by Gruff Rhys. Gruff has been an icon in Welsh music and culture for over two decades. He was shortlisted alongside acts such as Manic Street Preachers and Joy Formidable, ambassadors for Wales in the world, as well as lesser known acts such as Lleuwen and Stagga. With a commitment to diversity and fine production, Welsh Music Prize will champion the best new music from Wales.
